#itelliFest2020 Day 4 – 9th October
Welcome to the final part of this blog series. We have segmented the agenda to make it easier for you to focus on the topics that are important to you.
After the keynote session, each half day segment uses a consistent flow to help you easily plan and focus.
Day 4 – AM – Get ahead on Finance Transformation and Spend Management
It is true that the finance team is at the centre of many SAP implementations. Increasingly more and more CFO’s are telling us that they are being challenged to transform their core functions. At #itelliFest2020 we will discuss how we are helping our customers gain the cost and efficiency advantages offered by automation and spend networks, and the business agility brought by the combination of real-time planning and transparent access to financial analytics on both direct and indirect spend.
Joining me for the Finance Transformation and Spend Management Plenary session will be NTT DATA Business Solutions experts; Daniela Possin, Jeremy Preston-Hoar, Matt Penston, and Chris Paddison for what I am sure will be a lively discussion. From the changing role of the office of the CFO, and the impact of automation, to thoughts and solutions around the management of direct and indirect spend, you can expect clear, honest insights. I am very excited to announce that our customer story will feature Matt in discussion with Dan Flynn from NTT DATA Business Solutions customer Premier Foods. Matt and Dan will reflect on a successful joint project where the team delivered an SAP Analytics Cloud driven Commercial Planning solution. After coffee, Chris and Daniela will focus on Intelligent Spend Management & Sourcing. This is an increasingly important topic for customers, many of whom are worried about managing supplier risk in an ever-changing world. You can expect more detail on centralising procurement, and supply chain / procurement resilience as well as ethical and value driven procurement.
The final focus session of #itelliFest2020 will be see Jeremy and Claire explore how you can bring robotics and automation to SAP Finance. Typically investigated for its perceived efficiency benefits, automation is a key strategic element of SAP’s intelligent enterprise strategy. Jeremy and Claire will explain what you get, how you can implement it and whether you need S/4HANA to see any benefit.
Following the final focus session, the NTT DATA Business Solutions Finance and Spend Management experts will be available for a live Q&A or you are welcome to explore #itelliFest for discussions with other attendees and our sponsors.
Day 4 – PM – Conference Wrap and Prize Giving
As previously mentioned we will be running a number of competitions and giveaways across the duration of #itelliFest2020.
This is an event built for the attendees. Plan and Focus
1 Exploration Hour. Each segment begins and ends with an Exploration Hour where we encourage you to immerse yourself in the online experience. You can meet our Sponsors at the Expo, chat with NTT DATA Business Solutions experts, or network with your fellow delegates.
2 Topic Plenary. During the topic plenary members of the NTT DATA Business Solutions team will share their latest thoughts and experiences as well as answering questions that you wish to raise through the interactive chat panel. In addition, I am pleased to say that every plenary contains an extended customer interview to allow real conversations about projects that have been recently undertaken.
3 Ask the Customer. From previous NTT DATA Business Solutions events we know that customer stories are an incredibly valuable part of the event experience, so after the plenary each customer speaker will take part in a virtual roundtable. Using the video capabilities of our event platform, we will give you the opportunity to ask the questions that are important to you. These are open sessions, however questions will be moderated to ensure fairness of access.
4 Topic Focus Sessions. We take two important conversations from the Topic Plenary and dig deeper into each. What is the business problem we are looking to address? Get a clearer understanding of the solution options available and understand the benefits that can be realised.
5 Ask the Experts. Just like the customer session, following the Focus Topic Sessions, the NTT DATA Business Solutions experts will be available for a virtual roundtable. You can ask the questions that are important to you. These are open sessions, however questions will be moderated to ensure fairness of access.
