#itelliFest2020 Day 3 – 8th October

Welcome to part four of five of this blog series.  We have segmented the agenda to make it easier for you to focus on the topics that are important to you.

After the keynote session, each half day segment uses a consistent flow to help you easily plan and focus.

Day 3 – AM – Look beyond HCM to HXM

We are still feeling the impact of the consumerisation of IT with a desire for internal systems to be not only more accessible and usable but also to be constantly improving. This is no more prevalent than in the core end-to-end HR Business Process known as Recruit to Retire. These are challenging times for many organisations with changes in workforce demographics as well as increasing demands for programs that recruit, train and retain the most talented people. #itelliFest2020 will guide you through the new world of HXM and help you understand how innovations such as Chatbots and Automation can help you accelerate your plans to delivering an improved Employee Experience.

The systems and methods we use for “recruit to retire” will be the focus of the Plenary session where I will be joined by NTT DATA Business Solutions experts; Denise Jay, James Shipway and Kulan Kandasamy. We will be discussing the evolving role of HR within organisations large and small; the shifting expectations and demands being placed on employees within different industries, and of course faster, and lower risk ways of implementing systems and managing change. For our customer story I am pleased to welcome Ann Garbutt, Global HR Director from NTT DATA Business Solutions customer Mercury Engineering. Don’t forget you can join Ann and Kulan for a live Q&A right afterwards.

For our first HXM Focus session, Kulan will be joined by NTT DATA Business Solutions Change and Training Practice Lead Jon Gregory for a deeper dive into the journey from HCM to HXM. Finally James and Denise return to look at how complimentary technologies such as people analytics, chatbots, AI and automation can drive efficiency and increased service levels.

From 12:30 to 13:30 you can attend an interactive Q&A with Kulan, Denise, James and Jon, or you are welcome to explore #itelliFest for discussions with other attendees and our sponsors.

Day 3 – PM – Get tips on lowering your SAP Running Costs

It is no secret that many SAP customers have experienced increasing running costs for their core systems. Whether due to scarcity of skilled resources, unplanned outages, or non-budgeted project work, we know that many of you are looking for options. During day 3 of #itelliFest2020 we will bring you up to speed with learnings from our Global Managed Services Team who work with customers to optimise their SAP run costs. For many, a core part of this is the opportunity presented by the Hyperscale Cloud providers and we will share experiences from working with all the major vendors.

Joining me for the Plenary session will be NTT DATA Business Solutions experts; Karen McLaughlin, Tim Broomhead and Andy Fairbairn. Our customer story is focused on a hyperscale journey to SAP and will feature Karen in discussion with Jamie Adams CIO at Scapa plc. For deeper discussion you can join Jamie and Karen for a live Q&A right afterwards.

For his Focus session, Andy will detail the SAP Certified NTT DATA Business Solutions Solution Manager-as-a-Service proposition. SAP Solution Manager helps users of SAP software adopt new developments and manage the entire application lifecycle. Customers are increasingly seeing the value of Solution Manager in helping better manage the cost of their SAP systems as well as helping them plan for their S/4HANA journey.

From 16:00 to 17:00 you can follow up on any of the conversations in an interactive Q&A with Karen and the team, or take the time to explore #itelliFest for discussions with other attendees and our sponsors.

The rest of this blog series will explore the remaining days of the agenda in more detail to help you better plan your attendance. Nowhere else will you be exposed to so much content, guidance, and thought-provoking insight. You will benefit from 4 days packed full of inspiring keynotes, demos, customer case studies, sponsor booths and interactive networking.

So, what are you waiting for?

You and your colleagues are welcome to join us at itelliFest2020, the NTT DATA Business Solutions conference, but different.

We hope to see you there.

Plan and Focus

1 Exploration Hour. Each segment begins and ends with an Exploration Hour where we encourage you to immerse yourself in the online experience. You can meet our Sponsors at the Expo, chat with NTT DATA Business Solutions experts, or network with your fellow delegates.

2 Topic Plenary. During the topic plenary members of the NTT DATA Business Solutions team will share their latest thoughts and experiences as well as answering questions that you wish to raise through the interactive chat panel. In addition, I am pleased to say that every plenary contains an extended customer interview to allow real conversations about projects that have been recently undertaken.

3 Ask the Customer. From previous NTT DATA Business Solutions events we know that customer stories are an incredibly valuable part of the event experience, so after the plenary each customer speaker will take part in a virtual roundtable. Using the video capabilities of our event platform, we will give you the opportunity to ask the questions that are important to you. These are open sessions, however questions will be moderated to ensure fairness of access.

4 Topic Focus Sessions. We take two important conversations from the Topic Plenary and dig deeper into each. What is the business problem we are looking to address? Get a clearer understanding of the solution options available and understand the benefits that can be realised.

5 Ask the Experts. Just like the customer session, following the Focus Topic Sessions, the NTT DATA Business Solutions experts will be available for a virtual roundtable. You can ask the questions that are important to you. These are open sessions, however questions will be moderated to ensure fairness of access.
