Transformation NOW! 2023 – Meet the Streams

As a reminder this year’s NTT DATA Business Solutions conference, Transformation NOW! 2023, will take place at etc. venues, 133 Houndsditch in the heart of London on Wednesday the 27th of September.  

Ahead of the release of the detailed agenda I wanted to provide a brief overview of the Transformation NOW! 2023 conference structure. 

Arrival and Plenary Session 

The venue will open for registration from 08:30, with the 1-hour Plenary session scheduled to begin at 10:00. 

Breakout Streams 

Following a coffee and networking break we will open the 8 breakout streams. Each stream contains 6 sessions, all at a punchy 30 minutes. The 48 sessions will contain contributions from NTT DATA Business Solutions customers, our partners, and of course our amazing colleagues. 

We have carefully selected the streams to reflect the topics you care about. 

1. The Journey to S/4HANA – Are you still running SAP ECC? Do you have a clear plan for moving to SAP S/4HANA? If not, then you may be wrestling with one or more of the following questions…  

• Should I convert, start again, or something else?  
• What is RISE with SAP and how does SAP’s focus on cloud impact me?  
• What will my SAP Team need to look like for S/4 success? 
• How do I develop a business case?  
• What can I learn from other customers? 

With mainstream support for SAP ECC only running until December 31st 2027 you need answers quick. This year we are dedicating our largest stream to customers who are planning to move to S/4HANA. 

2. Evolving with S/4HANA – hear the very latest on the solutions at the core of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise Strategy. The S/4 HANA innovation cycle is a step change from ECC. It is important to be aware and prepared for the latest capabilities. From embedded analytics, and AI infused smart processes, to intelligent automation, this stream will showcase the latest innovations and the stories of customers who are using them.  

3. Data & Analytics – how to leverage data to drive business value remains a key topic for many organisations running SAP. This stream will help you plan your next steps by bringing you the latest approaches, technologies, and customer stories. 

4. Strategy – The last few years have been challenging for many organisations with urgent operational issues perhaps distracting you from the bigger picture. In this stream our thought leaders, customers, and partners will focus on topics such as the evolving role of the SAP Centre of Excellence, how to build high performing SAP teams, and how to better realise the value of your existing SAP investments.  

5. Platforms, Development and Extensibility – SAP’s continued and inevitable move towards Cloud technologies means many changes for SAP teams. In this stream we will highlight the critical areas you need to be aware of including, approaches to SAP development in the Cloud, the role of low code & no code solutions, moving from on premise integration to Cloud Integration Suite, and much more. 

6. Round Tables – This year we are introducing a stream of intimate “Inner Circle” sessions for our key industries: 

• Pharma & Life Sciences 
• Higher Education 
• CPG 
• Discrete Industries 

These round tables offer the opportunity for open, honest, experience sharing and networking. 

7. Line of Business Solutions – Experience Management for both employees and customers is increasingly being seen as a key differentiator for many organisations. In this stream our HXM and CX leaders will share customer success stories to support your decision to invest in these key functional areas. 

8. Sustainability (ESG) – Becoming a sustainable business is a multi-faceted initiative, from carbon reduction planning and reporting, requirements to tackle diversity and inclusion, and the advent of the circular economy to name just a few. This stream will provide practical advice that you can adopt to support your ESG initiatives. 

The 8 streams will be split by a networking lunch break allowing you to enjoy a hot-fork buffet, check your messages, get some fresh air, and of course network with our team and your fellow delegates.  

Celebrity Keynote – Louis Theroux

After a late afternoon coffee break, the final session of the day will be a celebrity keynote who will entertain and challenge in equal measure.  We are delighted to announce our Celebrity keynote speaker is documentary presenter, broadcaster, author and podcaster, Louis Theroux.

Drinks and Networking  

As is traditional, at 17:30 we will open our complimentary networking reception, so you can relax and reflect on the day’s events over a cold drink before heading home.
