Accelerated Consultant Education (ACE) Program

The Accelerated Consultant Education, or ACE Program, is a multi-year training program that develops new hires into SAP professionals.

This is a full-time position that includes:

• An initial, intensive three-month classroom training portion that includes a combination of hands-on and instructor-led learning followed by continuing consultant education.
• The ability to practice what you’ve learned in the classroom, working with experienced professionals.
• Knowledgeable mentors who will guide and assist you throughout your early career with NTT DATA Business Solutions.

Our mission is to develop new hires into SAP professionals who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to deliver exceptional value to our clients. Through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, we aim to empower our new hires to become trusted advisors, innovators, and problem solvers in the ever-evolving landscape of SAP technology.

Upon successful completion of the classroom portion of the program, participants:

• Are provided with opportunities to continue to expand their SAP technical and professional skills while adding value to NDBS and our customers
• Can choose to pursue a career path in other lines of business within NDBS at the conclusion of their “tour of duty” or rotation as an SAP Associate
• Continue to receive mentorship as they gain exposure to diverse customers, industries, and SAP project types
• Build their networks within the organization through various events and other career opportunities

The ACE Program also offers an accelerated compensation structure, with significant salary increases every six months until reaching senior consultant or equivalent.

ACE Program participants receive a generous benefits package, which includes, among other benefits:

• 401(k): We match employee contributions at a rate of 100% on contributions between 0-3% plus 50% on contributions from 3-5%.

• Cell Phone Stipend: Employees are provided a monthly stipend to be used towards their cell phone expenses.

The three-month classroom portion of the ACE Program is comprised of four main phases:

• Consulting Skills: This includes training in professional skills that are imperative to becoming a successful SAP professional such as learning how to effectively present, building your personal brand, networking and client interaction.
• Introduction to SAP: In this phase, we’ll introduce participants to SAP terminology, products and offerings as well as the Activate+ Methodology.
• SAP Bootcamps: This phase builds on the prior one — with a dedicated week-long ‘bootcamp’ for each of the core SAP Business Process Areas (BPAs). These bootcamps cover the most common SAP business processes, terms, and Scope Items for that BPA.
• Mock Project: You’ll have the opportunity to tie all of the prior phases together in a safe, simulated environment where you will deliver a scaled-down SAP project for a mock customer. This includes gathering requirements, playing back those requirements, fit/gap sessions and a final presentation of the proposed solution.

After finishing the initial three-month comprehensive training portion of the program, you will be provided with mentorship and support to assist you in successfully starting your consulting career. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to observe experienced consultants in action, allowing you to learn from them while adding value to NDBS and our customers. Throughout the program, continuous learning sessions will be available to develop and broaden your professional and technical skills.
