Company Recognized for Support of Hybrid Multi-Cloud Services, Investments in Automation, AI

NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services provider, today announced it has been named a Leader in the NelsonHall NEAT Report for Cloud Infrastructure Brokerage, Orchestration and Management Services. The company placed in the highest of NelsonHall’s four categories based on its overall ability to meet future client requirements and deliver immediate benefits to its cloud infrastructure clients.

The report ranked NTT DATA highly for how effectively its customizable cloud services help clients plan implementations, migrate workloads and run applications securely in a hybrid multi-cloud environment. The report highlighted a number of company strengths including its toolsets across proprietary and third-party support of hybrid multi-cloud services; its ongoing investment in automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning; and its extensive ecosystem of partners.

“Today’s enterprises and agencies are shifting resources to the cloud at a record pace, trying to achieve innovation, operational efficiency and speed. NelsonHall’s NEAT report recognizes that we at NTT DATA are delivering on our promise to help customers transform by leveraging the power of the cloud,” said Hiroshi Tomiyasu, Senior Vice President, Head of Technology and Innovation General Headquarters, NTT DATA Corporation. “NTT DATA has developed a rich store house of expertise to successfully advise clients in their journeys to and across the cloud, and a strong portfolio of cloud accelerators and services that help them innovate faster and embrace agility.”

The report showcases initiatives NTT DATA is taking to evolve its approach to cloud services to support hybrid multi-cloud environments. These initiatives include investments in the company’s Nucleus Cloud Management Program, focus on cloud-native use cases, enhanced security capabilities and development of skill sets across hybrid multi-cloud.

“NTT DATA continues to invest in its Nucleus Cloud Management Platform, including integrating Flux7 capabilities, particularly across cloud-native services, DevOps consulting, and container management services. It also provides added security across Nucleus CMP through NTT Security capabilities. NTT DATA is also focused on agile capabilities through the development of Agile PODs and DevOps engineers, SMEs, and architects, to reinforce its sprint-based workshop approach. It is further increasing its dedicated CoEs and innovation centers in support of cloud services,” said John Laherty, Senior IT Services Research Analyst, NelsonHall.

The report noted that the global cloud infrastructure brokerage, orchestration and management services market is expected to grow at 10% annual rates from $156 billion in 2020 to $228 billion in 2024. NelsonHall projects North America accounting for 45% of the overall market in 2024 and EMEA making up 33%. Latin America is expected to see higher growth through to 2021, driven by greater propensity to adopt cloud in support of remote working, while APAC maintains steady growth through 2024.
