To automate testing of interfaces and processes, NTT DATA Business solutions adopted the Int4 solution, Int4 Shield. In collaboration with Int4, the SAP platinum partner aims to offer a stable, and cost-effective migration to SAP® Integration Suite. SAP customers around the world are currently using SAP Process Orchestration software for their integration needs. Further development and maintenance for this software are due to be discontinued in 2027, by which time companies will need to migrate to SAP Integration Suite, a key solution of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). According to Thorsten Düvelmeyer, SAP Consultant Enterprise Integration & Cloud Architect at NTT DATA Business Solutions, businesses can reap benefits from making the change early: “SAP Integration Suite is the future-proof approach of integration platform as a service (PaaS), which can be utilized to comprehensively map and control the digital transformation.”

SAP offers migration assessment, capability and best practices to support the move to SAP Integration Suite. Int4 offers Int4 Shield, a solution for automated testing when migrating to SAP Integration Suite. As manual interface testing ties up important resources, NTT DATA Business Solutions will be using the automated solution Int4 Shield during the migration process. This solution enables SAP developers and consultants to test the interfaces between SAP systems and third-party applications with convenient ease. Regression tests in non-productive systems are possible as well. If the associated simulations already take place in early project phases, developers will no longer have to wait for their business processes to be tested as used to be the case.

The first concrete planning details are to be presented in the fall of 2023.
