Learn About SAP S/4HANA and Prepare for Future Migration
Even if your business has not committed yet to SAP S/4HANA migration, we believe it would be prudent to consider the impact it may have on current work you’re doing within your existing ECC landscape.
If you decide not to adopt S/4HANA immediately, you’ll still need to consider the future impact in order to avoid adding future technical debt – for example, continuing to add customizations to your ECC environment may further complicate your migration approach and increase project costs.
As a practical matter, it makes sense to invest some time now to understand how SAP S/4HANA differs from previous SAP ERP systems, what it offers and how it can benefit your business.

SAP S/4HANA introduces powerful analytics capabilities designed to improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes through integration, analysis and visualization of analytics and KPIs. NTT DATA Business Solutions offers a workshop designed to educate your team about embedded analytics, review Core Data Services (CDS) views and consumption models, and learn how to write reports.
SAP Fiori
SAP Fiori’s user-centered design concept focuses on the way employees work, using the SAP Fiori Launchpad as the central, role-based entry point to access all applications. Our SAP Fiori workshop provides an introduction to SAP Fiori and an opportunity to participate in hands-on exercises to activate SAP Fiori apps and to create the SAP Fiori catalog/group, a new SAP transaction tile and a role for the Standard SAP app.
S4 Security
Many of the changes brought about by SAP S/4HANA will have an impact on security and role design for end users. Our S4 Security workshop will help your team understand the new security considerations for SAP HANA and SAP Fiori, using a hands-on approach to learn how to adjust and remediate changes to authorization due to S/4HANA.
Technical Standards
The NTT DATA Business Solutions Technical Standards workshop is designed to help you start code remediation and HANAtization of legacy code with the right footing and education. This workshop will help you get up to speed with powerful new coding techniques to leverage the SAP HANA database to build modern, scalable apps.
Output Management
Before migrating to SAP S/4HANA, it may be beneficial to have an understanding of SAP’s new output management approach based on Adobe Document Server and Adobe Forms. The NTT DATA Business Solutions Output Management workshop provides client developers with a basic understanding of how and when to use Adobe Forms in SAP S/4HANA.
