NTT DATA Business Solutions Helps Manufacturer Implement Unprecedented Functionality with SAP GRC Access Controls 10.1
A leader in outdoor recreation products is now running SAP GRC Access Control version 10.1 following a recent go-live. The latest version provides some enhanced capabilities using SAP NetWeaver as the existing platform. This is a significant achievement for the retailer because it involved upgrading the detailed data related to SAP user access and controls (GRC Access Risk Analysis), not just simply the technical SAP GRC software. In addition, the NTT DATA Business Solutions GRC Team implemented specific functionality “that had never been done before.”
Primary Project Objectives Achieved:
- Ensured all SoD conflicts are efficiently mitigated, minimizing the risk of serious fraud or errors and the need for time-consuming manual controls.
- Implemented location-based Role Approval for User Provisioning across the globe. NTT DATA Business Solutions implemented a customized Function Module based BRF+ User Provisioning method to ensure all their roles were approved by the role owners based on a specific location.
- Successfully implemented Emergence Access Management module in SAP GRC with workflow- based approval process before executing a firefighting activity in the ECC system.
