NTT DATA Business Solutions, one of the world’s leading SAP Partners for the medium-sized market, today announced that Sanctuary Group has won the SAP UKI Customer Success Awards in the category ‘Best Socially Sustainable Project.’
The SAP Customer Success Awards highlights organisations that have delivered considerable innovation, value and environmental impact. The ‘Best Socially Sustainable Project’ category features organisations whose usage of SAP solutions have demonstrated a positive social, environmental, or economic impact and a shared purpose in helping the world run better to improve people’s lives. The award was presented to Sanctuary Group at a special SAP UKI Awards Dinner on Wednesday 17th November at Searcys at the Gherkin, London.
The first wave of the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK had a significant impact on the Sanctuary Group as it cares for and houses some of the most vulnerable people in our society. With the pandemic spreading, at a speed unseen in our lifetime, Sanctuary needed to monitor and understand the spread of COVID-19. Partnering with NTT DATA Business Solutions, Sanctuary Group was able to access real time interactive insights on the impact of COVID-19 and understand the health impact to customers and front line team members. This enabled the organisation to introduce operational changes to limit future exposure to the virus throughout care homes and supported living accommodation.

Sanctuary Group has adopted SAP Data Warehouse Cloud as a key component of its data fabric utilising it as the data mesh to bring together SAP data (BW7) and non-SAP data to create easily consumable analytics through SAP Analytics Cloud. The pandemic response has without doubt accelerated Sanctuary’s data and analytics journey and created an appetite across the organisation for modern analytics.
