Vice President Business Development
I have been working in the SAP ecosystem since 1997 following a ten year financial career which culminated in myself being the Financial Controller of Dunlop Aviation Services deploying SAP as an end user in the mid 1990’s. Following a successful deployment, I was inspired to change my career direction from Finance to IT and joined Apex Systems, SAP’s first Value Add Reseller, as a project manager responsible for delivering their first SAP implementation, which was into Burtonwood Breweries in 1998.
Since then I have been a key member of the senior management team of a number of leading SAP practices with roles ranging from Operations Director, accountable for the Project and Consulting functions, through to being Business Development Director responsible for driving successful engagements, formulating a clear sales strategy and Go-To-Market planning. Over the last 19 years I have had a career that has enabled me to closely follow and participate in the incredible journey that SAP has been on, right from the first ground breaking version of SAP R3 through to its current-day form represented by a comprehensive portfolio of solutions that embrace the era of Cloud and Digital transformation.
I have had the privilege of being materially involved in one form or another in well over 200 SAP engagements and implementations in a diverse range of sectors and industries. Additionally this period of time has afforded me the opportunity to develop accelerated implementation methodologies, rollout approaches and industry solutions and templates which have successfully enhanced a multitude of implementations.
I had the exciting opportunity of joining the NTT DATA Business Solutions (previously itelligence) management team in 2015 as Business Development Director responsible for developing our go to market strategy, directing the marketing function and managing a first class pre sales and engagement team.
