Vice President – Managed Services
Karen graduated first in her class in 1995 achieving a B.Sc. in Engineering from University of West of Scotland (UWS) and began her professional career at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as a Manufacturing Engineer working with Six Sigma and JIT methodology. Her experience in production and shop floor systems led to her first SAP role as part of the DEC global SAP implementation, going live in 1998.
She then joined PriceWaterhouse as an SAP PP Consultant and worked on European wide projects at various customers including Coty, Jefferson Smurfit & Glaxo Smithkline, amongst others.
In 2001, she joined the Compaq Logistics IT team through an SAP/Microsoft consultancy firm – Shian, she was responsible for and grew the SAP practice. In 2003, Chelford SAP Solutions acquired Shian and she was given the role of Operations Director.
Since 2010 she has been part of the NTT DATA Business Solutions UK Executive Management team as Managed Services Director growing the UK based SAP Support Services, and participating in the growth of the global managed services across the NTT DATA group.
Karen spearheads the Women in Technology group in NTT DATA Business Solutions UK.
