Bielefeld – The transformation marches on: An ever greater number of companies are integrating digital technologies into their business processes in order to reduce costs and open up new business opportunities. While there has been some progress, companies are continuing to face challenges where digitalization is concerned. Under the motto “#Future-proof: Today. Tomorrow and the Day after Tomorrow.”, this year’s Transformation NOW! addresses the opportunities arising from the transformation through digital solutions. With an event held on June 13, 2023, NTT DATA Business Solutions AG, the globally leading SAP consulting firm for the SME sector, will start off Europe’s biggest series of partner events for the SAP community with a German online program full of highlights and insights into the digital transformation. Experts, consultants and visionaries will report on current trends and illustrate how companies can master business challenges successfully through the intelligent use of new technologies. Following the kick-off event in Germany, further series events will take place in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland, the UK, Turkey, France, Denmark, Switzerland and Hungary.

Better orientation for decision-making with regard to the digital transformation
The Transformation NOW! 2023 series will once again provide an interesting and diverse program: The twelve sessions in total will offer participants guidance for making the right strategic decisions involved in shaping the digital transformation. The one-day online summit focuses on three key areas: “Perspectives & Impulses”, “Technology & Trends” as well as “Human & Culture”. In the interviews, panel discussions and keynotes featuring top-class experts, participants will receive impulses and information relating to solutions, offerings and innovations from the SAP environment that businesses can use to purposefully shape the future.
One trend that will also be given serious attention during the course of this year’s Transformation NOW! events is that of Artificial Intelligence. With the advent of ChatGPT, AI has turned into a technology that is also accessible to people in everyday life. It brought about a wider awareness of AI at a stroke, resulting in rising demand, but also raising concerns as to the potential use of the technology in the industrial environment. “We think ahead and provide orientation in a time of continual rapid change. This year, we are therefore focusing on the trends and strategies that we can start tackling today, implement tomorrow and advance further the day after tomorrow,” explains Dr. Andreas Pauls, Executive Vice President, Regional Head DACH and Managing Director Germany at NTT DATA Business Solutions, paraphrasing the motto of this year’s Transformation NOW!
NTT DATA Business Solutions was able to attract renowned and prominent speakers for the inspiring kick-off of the event series. Verena Pausder, entrepreneur and expert in digital education, will talk about her experiences with the transformation of SME businesses and the role of leadership in challenging change processes. In his keynote speech, Dr. Teo Pham, expert in digital business models and Artificial Intelligence, will explain the opportunities offered to businesses by AI in general and by ChatGTP and the Metaverse in particular and describe the types of use cases that are already delivering added value today. Dr. Andreas Kleinschmidt will act as facilitator throughout the day. He provides coaching services to executives and CEOs worldwide and supports start-ups in the early stage of development as a Business Angel.

Since holding the events virtually has proved successful over the last few years, the German edition of Transformation NOW! 2023 will once again take place online. The presentations and discussions will predominantly be addressed at business executives as well as experts, decision-makers and users from various areas such as IT, Production, Finances, Logistics, HR, Marketing, Sales and Purchasing.
