Dieter Schoon has three decades of experience within the People business. He studied psychology and labor law at Bamberg University. He then embarked on his professional career in 1992, when he initially joined Gemini Consulting, where he started as HR and strategy consultant. Later, he became a project manager for projects focused on people strategy and organizational consulting within various industries of the large enterprise segment (Telco & Media, Pharmaceutical & Chemistry, Automotive Suppliers, and Retail).
In 2000, Dieter joined the newly established company Cell Consulting, functioning as head of HR strategy and organizational consulting. Afterwards, in 2003, Dieter Schoon accepted an offer as Senior Advisor at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Dresden, where he supported the company’s management in shaping a novel HR strategy and organizational design required for the new microchip plant Fabrik 36.
In 2004 he started as HR director at NTT DATA Business Solutions AG (back then itelligence AG) in Bielefeld. Since then, Dieter Schoon designs and shapes its global talent-centric culture, being the foundation for its growth and success. Dieter is responsible for all strategic and operational people issues.
