Our 35th anniversary.

NTT DATA Business Solution becomes part of NTT DATA, Inc. with CEO Abhijit Dubey.

Received four 2024 SAP® Pinnacle Awards in the categories: Intelligent Enterprise Value Realization, Customer Success Management (NTT DATA Business Solutions UK), Partner-Led Demand Management, GROW with SAP.

Awarded as Global Top Employer 2024.

Acquired Proven Tech (India).

2023

Best year in history with record high revenue & EBITA margin.

Received four 2023 SAP® Pinnacle Awards in the categories: Sales Success – Midmarket, Sales Success – Cross Segment, Customer Success Management, Partner-Led Demand Management.

Acquired Sapphire Systems (UK&I)

2022

Acquired Natuvion Group (Germany) and Business Services & Technologies OOD (Bulgaria).

2021

Changed name to NTT DATA Business Solutions AG and go-to-market to NTT DATA, as part of NTT DATA brand family.

Acquired My Supply Chain Group, LLC (MSCG) (Alabama, US).

2020

Jürgen Pürzer became new CFO of itelligence AG.

Acquired Pasafin Oy (Finland) and FH S.A. (Brazil).

Received the 2020 SAP Pinnacle Award as the SAP SuccessFactors Partner of the Year and Intelligent Spend Management Partner of the Year.

2019

Our 30th anniversary celebrations on June 12, 2019.

Acquired ISS Consulting Ltd (Bankok, Thailand) and a majority stake in Weaveability Ltd (Greater Manchester, UK) and in FH S.A. (Brazil).

Received the 2019 SAP Pinnacle Award® 2019 as the SAP Global Platinum Reseller of the Year and SAP Innovation Award in the category ‘Process Innovator’.

2018

Received three 2018 SAP® Pinnacle Awards: SAP Global Platinum Reseller of the Year, SAP SuccessFactors Partner of the Year – Small and Midsize Companies, and SAP Partner of the Year – Database and Data Management.

Acquired EINS Consulting (Sweden) and Sybit GmbH (Germany).

Achieved Partner Center of Expertise certification from SAP SE.

Sharath Burla, who had taken leadership roles responsible for APAC market at global technology organisations, started as CEO at NTT DATA Business Solutions APAC.

NTT DATA celebrated the 30th anniversary of its spin-off from NTT Corporation.

2017

Acquired premium SAP services provider vCentric Technologies (India) and Goldfish ICT (Netherlands).

Received two 2017 SAP® Pinnacle Awards: SAP S/4HANA® Partner of the Year – Small and Midsize Companies and Digital Marketing Momentum Partner of the Year for 2017.

Received SAP® Hybris® Gold Partner status.

2016

Norbert Rotter, who previously held the position of CFO, became new CEO of itelligence AG.

Herbert Vogel, the founder and long-standing CEO, retired.

Acquired BIT.Group GmbH (Germany) and ITML GmbH (Germany).

Received two 2016 SAP® Pinnacle Awards: SAP S/4HANA Adoption Partner of the Year and Global Value-Added Reseller.

2014

Our 25th anniversary celebrations on 21st June 2014.

Became a majority shareholder in GISA (Germany), the renowned IT service provider in Halle (Saale), Germany.

Acquired Symphony Management Consulting (USA) and 4C Management Consulting (Denmark).

2013

Co-branded as itelligence, NTT DATA Business Solutions.

Became a 100% owned subsidiary of NTT DATA Europe GmbH & Co KG.

Received SAP North America Partner Excellence Award 2013.

Acquired Aster Group (USA) and the SAP business of Software AG (North America and Eastern Europe).

2012

Herbert Vogel, CEO and founder, became leader of NTT DATA Business Solutions – a global group of SAP solutions providers.

Opened new North American Headquarters and Data Center.

Acquired Elsys (Turkey), Blueprint Management Systems Ltd. (United Kingdom) and PlanOrg Industry (Germany) of the SAP partner PlanOrg in Jena, Germany.

Extend Technologies (Australia), Business Formula (Malaysia), and Cornerstone Asia Tech (Singapore) were rebranded as NTT DATA Business Solutions.

2011

Became SAP Global Partner Cloud Services and SAP Global Partner Application Management Services.

Acquired 2C change (Denmark, Norway, Sweden) and Contemporary (United Kingdom).

2010

Gained SAP Global Value-Added Reseller status.

Acquired Chelford SAP Solutions Ltd. (United Kingdom), RPF Consulting LLC (USA) and ADELANTE SAS (Canada and France).

Business Formula, a Malaysia-based ERP consulting firm specializing in SAP and now known as NTT DATA Business Solutions Malaysia, joined NTT DATA Group.

2009

Won SME Channel Partner Pinnacle Award in North America.

Acquired 2B Interactive (Netherlands).

2008

Opened a location in Shanghai, China. Opened new data centers in Bautzen and Salzenforst (Germany) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

Acquired SAPCON a.s. (Czech Republic).

Norbert Rotter became new CFO of itelligence AG.

2007

Became part of the NTT Data Group and won the SAP Pinnacle Award for Customer Satisfaction.

2006

Gained SAP Gold Partner status in Germany for project quality, industry expertise and customer satisfaction.

Achieved SAP Gold Partner status in various countries.

2004

Accorded SAP Global Hosting Partner status.

2003

Achieved first SAP Global Partner Service status.

2000

Expanded into Eastern and Western Europe. Increased portfolio to offer a 360-degree service, including IT strategy consulting, SAP implementation, licensing, system integration, hosting and application management.

Business Formula, a Malaysian SAP service provider and now known as NTT DATA Business Solutions Malaysia, was established in Subang Jaya.

itelligence AG went public.

1999

Renamed to SVC and first flotation / initial public offering.

1996

Expanded internationally and opened offices in Austria, Switzerland and the United States.

1994

Renamed to SVP GmbH (Schmidt Vogel & Partner).

1989

Founded S&P Consult in Bielefeld, Germany, as one of the first SAP partner.

1988

NTT DATA was incorporated as it was spun-off from NTT.

1967

Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (NTT) established DATA Communications Bureau, which now known as NTT DATA, within it.
