Stijn Nauwelaerts holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Leuven, Belgium, and a Master of Labor Law and Social Security Law degree from Université de Liège, Belgium.
He began his career as Legal Counsel and later transitioned into Human Resources, taking on leadership roles at The Bank of New York in Brussels. He subsequently joined Microsoft, where he remained for over 20 years in different leading positions. In his last position he served as Corporate Vice President of HR, leading the global people and talent agenda across Microsoft’s subsidiaries and its Customer and Partner Solutions organization.
In November 2024, Stijn joined NTT DATA, Inc. as its Chief People Officer. In this role, he is responsible for the global people and talent strategy, shaping a workplace culture that empowers over 150,000 employees across more than 50 countries. He is part of the supervisory board since July 2025.
