Mercedes-Benz Türk

Mercedes-Benz Türk was founded in 1967 as Otomarsan in Davutpaşa, Istanbul, with a 36% shareholding of Daimler-Benz AG and became the General Representative of Mercedes-Benz Türkiye in 1984. In 1990, the company changed its trade name to Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. and continued its operations as responsible for the Truck and Bus groups in 2020 with the restructuring process of Daimler AG. Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş., which gained full legal independence in 2021, stands out as one of the largest foreign capital investments in Türkiye with an investment volume of more than 1.3 billion euros and employs more than 6,400 people.

Mercedes-Benz Türk’s digital transformation journey

Mercedes-Benz Türk launched SAP Concur solution in cooperation with NTT DATA to digitalize travel and expense processes and improve employee experience. Within the scope of the project, a user-friendly structure was created that allows employees to easily manage their travel and expenses and accelerates cash advance and per diem processes.

Thanks to integrations with SAP Concur, credit card and travel agency transactions were automated, reducing employee workload and minimizing operational errors. Thanks to the mobile application, the processes have been made much faster and more efficient for both employees and managers by quickly uploading receipts to the system and easily creating expenditure reports.

With this transformation, Mercedes-Benz Türk was able to offer its employees a modern travel and expense management experience while increasing efficiency in business processes. The long-standing partnership between NTT DATA and Mercedes-Benz Türk was positively reflected in the SAP Concur project. Working as partners who know and trust each other enabled the project to be implemented quickly and efficiently.
