NTT DATA recently announced a multi-year deal with Daimler for global ERP support services.
The agreement will see NTT DATA, one of the leading global IT services providers, work closely with the Shared Services Centres of Daimler, in Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, India (MBRDI) Bangalore, and Mercedes-Benz Türk, Istanbul, to provide application support service for ERP templates.
The Shared Services Centres have been recently created to increase the support to ensure growing global IT requirements are met. They are tasked with handling 75 per cent of all ERP -related support requests and bringing in external expertise, such as NTT DATA, to help them deliver this.

The term of the deal will cover all template-based applications including operations, basis and development services.”

NTT DATA is tasked with providing support for the ERP applications within Mercedes-Benz working in close collaboration with MBRDI, the Turkish and the Americas operations. The team will cover all template-based applications including Operations, BASIS and Development services.
