Bielefeld, November 12, 2013 – The Meggle Group will in future use the strategic possibilities of SAP Suite with HANA, itelligence AG announced today. The traditional company Meggle from Wasserburg, founded in 1887, is one of the most renowned manufacturers of dairy products in Europe, Asia and America and is also one of the largest manufacturers of pharmaceutical lactose.
In future Meggle will use its SAP Suite with HANA as a data platform for its SAP landscape. With HANA technology, it is possible to optimize work-flows further, since the necessary data can be made available in a much shorter time-frame. Complex analytical reports can be performed directly on the basis of transactional data. Thus, it is no longer necessary to transfer and process data in a business warehouse.
For many years, the Meggle Group has successfully brought their various specialties, of the highest quality, to diverse markets. Because of this, huge amounts of data accumulate and cry out to be used. SAP increases the speed of this analysis and of the reporting of critical business processes. In this way, the SAP Suite with HANA allows data to be collected more quickly and to be used more responsively by corporate management.
