itelligence and SAP aim to move universities to SAP S/4HANA®

itelligence and SAP promote the adoption of SAP S/4HANA in universities and higher education institutions by marketing a solution with best practices and a predefined implementation methodology.

SAP S/4HANA® Higher Ed Acceleration & Transformation program is a cooperative agreement between itelligence and SAP intended to drive the adoption of SAP S/4HANA in the higher education sector. The parties jointly developed a strategy that targets the installed base as well as new customers. itelligence contributes deep higher education expertise, offers SAP-qualified partner-packaged solutions, follows best practices and a predefined methodology that all optimize implementation an reduce time-to-value.

Stefan Ellerbrake, Executive Vice President Global Field Consulting at itelligence and Head of Western Europe Business Unit, says, “Successfully working in cooperation with SAP over the years has allowed itelligence to develop efficient implementation methodologies and extensions to SAP solutions. The combination of higher education industry knowledge with SAP experience and development capability make itelligence uniquely qualified to deliver this value.”

The SAP S/4HANA Higher Ed Acceleration & Transformation program consists of five elements:

  1. Administrative ERP for Universities designed to target Finance, HR, Procurement and Travel & Expenses.
  2. Student Engagement Platform for Universities designed to support Student Management, Student Engagement and Student Experience.
  3. Total Workforce Management for Universities designed to foster managing the campus workforce and external workers.
  4. Innovation for Universities designed to demonstrate methods of delivering innovation in key areas like Student, HR, Finance and Research.
  5. SAP S/4HANA MOVE for Universities designed to assist with defining a migration path from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA.

“As universities face new challenges and advanced solutions are deployed to provide greater visibility and insight to operations, SAP partners are essential components of successful implementations that deliver business value. Partners bring strong implementation expertise and deep industry knowledge to lead institutions on this transformational journey,” says Malcolm Woodfield, SAP Global Head Higher Education and Research.

The SAP S/4HANA Higher Ed Acceleration & Transformation program is based on SAP® Leonardo and SAP Cloud Platform. One component of the program is the Blockchain Suite for Higher Education and HR Certificates, which is designed to maintain certificates and credentials and prevent forgery using blockchain.

The partnership drives and accelerates the adoption of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud portfolio and the newly developed solutions in the higher education sector. Target regions are EMEA and MEE.
