Nordeon GmbH, an internationally successful manufacturer of lamps and lighting based in Springe, was recognized by SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG, being awarded a Silver Quality Award in the category, “Rapid Delivery” for the excellent quality of their SAP project.

Nordeon is a new and innovative European manufacturer of lighting products, with a history which stretches over 100 years. In October 2012 Nordeon was founded by purchasing the Philips development and production site for professional lighting which was located in Springe, Germany. In December, the Nordeon group was expanded through the acquisition of Philips’ production facility for fluorescent lamps in Chalon sur Saône, France, and in March 2013 they acquired Vulkan GmbH, which was established in 1898 Vulkan GmbH.
Nordeon GmbH was accompanied in their SAP project by itelligence AG, one of the leading SAP full-service providers for the SME sector. In just eight months, a carve-out project from the Philips SAP system was successfully undertaken and it.hightronics, an SAP Business All-in-One industry solution from intelligence, was introduced.

it.hightronics is an SAP Business All-in-One industry solution offering industry-specific functions for the electronics and high-tech industry. For example, the international flow of goods and complex foreign trade regulations are already included in the solution. Since 1st February 2014 about 110 people at Nordeon have been working with it.hightronics.
