NTT DATA Business Solutions catamaran setting sail

This summer, NTT DATA Business Solutions is making this promise come true in a real sense. During NTT DATA – The Baltic Sailing Tour, NTT DATA Business Solutions’ catamaran is taking in three ports in three countries, connecting partners and experts in the field of digital transformation.
With NTT DATA – The Baltic Sailing Tour, NTT DATA Business Solutions is completing another leg of its large-scale global growth and branding initiative. The tour started on August 9 in the German Baltic Sea port of Travemünde, where the NTT DATA Business Solutions catamaran set sail on a journey taking in two ports of call: Copenhagen and Gdynia, Poland.
The company formerly called itelligence AG has been operating as NTT DATA Business Solutions AG since April 1. The branding has been transformed successfully to match NTT DATA. However, the leading IT service provider and SAP Platinum Partner continues to operate as an independent company headquartered in Bielefeld, Germany, offering an extensive portfolio comprised of consulting, managed services and co-innovation based on SAP® products and solutions.

The catamaran
A “Formula 1 sailing vessel”, the M32 sailing under the NTT DATA Business Solutions banner is a ten-meter carbon racer, with up to 150 square meters of sail and a weight of 550 kg, manned by a crew of four or five. Among other achievements, the catamaran won Italy’s most famous regatta, the Centomiglia on Lake Garda, twice and took a first place at the Kiel Regatta (“Kieler Woche”).
