Vienna/Bielefeld, 18th June 2013 – Within the shortest time, itelligence, successful full SAP service provider in Vienna, has implemented a complete SAP solution for medium-sized companies for business processes of Contec Steuerungstechnik & Automation GmbH in Ebbs in Tirol, with the SAP project meeting the highest demands with regard to project quality, as underlined by the SAP Quality Award conferred to Contec by SAP Austria.
Contec develops versatile electronic components and systems for medical engineering and industrial automation. The end devices consist of a variety of complex component parts and component assemblies, making very high demands on the fields of logistics, purchasing and manufacturing organization. As a result, Contec GmbH has decided in favor of the introduction of SAP with the modules FI, CO, PP, SD, MM, WM and QM.
“For achieving for example the certifications required for the development and production of medical engineering products we require seamless control and documentation of our supply chain. Within just four months the old system for logistics, planning and accounting was replaced by itelligence by an SAP installation for 40 users. Within the framework of the SAP implementation project itelligence also installed four industrial standard servers with 64-bit operating systems as an SAP platform.
