Warsaw, 13. June 2013 – itelligence has formed a cooperative relationship with the company Volkswagen Motor Polska Sp. z o.o. headquartered in Polkowice, Poland, manufacturer of diesel motors for Volkswagen. Under the new contract, itelligence implemented the management system for maintenance- and building administration, SAP Maintenance Plan (PM). The project’s goal is the implementation of a complex solution for the administration of processes associated with maintenance and reconditioning at the Volkswagen factory in Polkowice, where state of-the-art diesel motors are produced.
The SAP PM system which was implemented by itelligence specialists provides administrative capability for spare parts, tools and equipment and, in the process, supports the registration and planning for meeting the continuous demand, and the upkeep of the corresponding security measures. The organization of work, reconditioning, control measures and maintenance, as well as resolution of problems and repairs, is executed by means of this system – including operations conducted by outside companies. In addition, there is a linkage with infrastructure elements such as the planned “self-service stations” which are to enable the storage of messages for every plant employee. Every such message will be directed to its goal according to defined “work-flow paths” which establish rules for the acknowledgment or rejection of messages.
